HISTORY: UNILATERAL PRIMARY OSTEOARTHRITIS
COMPARISON: None
TECHNIQUE: Multiplanar images of the left knew were obtained at 1.5 Tesla without IV contrast. During this public health emergency, we are using enhanced sterilization processes, social distancing measures and PPE for your protection.

Lateral Meniscus: There is a complex degenerative tear of the anterior horn and body of the lateral meniscus.
SOFT TISSUES: The quadriceps and patellar tendons are intact. There is a large multiseptated popliteal cyst. There is moderate-sized effusion.

IMPRESSION: 3 compartment degenerative changes, most severe in the lateral compartment. Complex degenerative lateral meniscal tear. Mild partial tear of the MCL. Moderate-sized joint effusion.
