HISTORY: MIGRAINE HEADACHE
COMPARISON: 6/16/2011
TECHNIQUE: Multiplanar images of the head were obtained with 1.5 Tesla without IV contrast. During this public health emergency, we are using enhanced sterilization processes, social distancing measures and PPE for your protection.

FINDINGS:
Brain: no evidence of acute infarction, intracranial hemorrhage, mass, mass effect or midline shift. There are scattered foci of nonspecific deep white matter FLAIR signal alteration in both frontal lobes in the left parietal lobe. Ventricles are normal in size and configuration.
Pituitary: There is no seller lesion.
IACS: The internal auditory canals are unremarkable.
Vasculature: Major intracranial flow voids at the skull base are patent.
Sinuses: Visualized paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells are clear.

IMPRESSION:
No acute intracranial process. Nonspecific foci of deep white matter FLAIR signal alteration may represent sequelae of headaches and/or chronic small vessel ischemia amongst other etiologies.
