Tiger Text Secure Texting
Tiger Text is a secure texting application which is integrated with Cerner and it’s now available for laboratory and radiology test results. Physicians use this app now on their smart phones to be notified of exam reports and results.
How Tiger Text Works for Lab and Radiology Tests
Briefly, when a physician submits an order requisition for labs and radiology, they can indicate that they want the results texted to them or copied to another physician.
When the order is received the scheduler needs to check the “Tiger Text Me Results” box or fill in the name of an other physician that they would like the results to be sent to and the rest is automated.
When the test is complete and results are available, the system will automatically and securely send the results to the physician(s) via the Tiger Text app to their smart phones.
